A 2014 odyssey?

Good Morning Hair Mekanixers!  How fed up with this rain and windy weather are we all??

Just a quick blog to welcome you all to 2014 which we hope will be, for you and us here at Hair Mekanix, a really good and more prosperous year than 2013!

I was wondering how many people actually read our blogs when they are updated (I try to do the monthly - apologies when they are not!). I wondered should I offer a free gift to all those that contact me, Oliver "the Editor", directly on my email o.lodge@btinternet.com but then that could get out of hand. So how about this; contact me and I'll draw one from a hat and find you a really nice bottle of red wine or champagne whatever you prefer... :-)

But why contact me? Well we would love to hear about your experiences at Hair Mekanix, or your ideas for new services, or, if you're brave enough, pictures from your past that you could entitle "Bad Hair" as I have an idea for a springtime competition and this would get you ahead of the curve :-)

2013 the year HM2 had it's first anniversary and Gitte and I are pleased with everything so far! The year one member of staff became engaged and another became a new mum! The year we introduced Electrolysis at HM2 after client market research at our summer open day! A year Gitte and I took on a rescue dog - Mango! To moan: The year the Government promised to help small businesses and Gitte and I are still waiting - haha! To moan again: bring the VAT down! Heehee... Those who know me well, know my background was the financial markets and I just love to have a moan about politics and business. Although I have to say I think we've passed the worse and whilst things will still go up and down in the economy, it is going in the right direction - phew, gone off topic a little :-)
