Abby is qualified to NVQ Level 3 from Farnborough College of Technology and she comes to us after a two year break from becoming a new mother.

Prior to joining us at Hair Mekanix she most recently worked at Cloud 9 in West Byfleet where she specialised in advanced facials and electrolysis. She worked at Cloud 9 for 13 years! Call her at HM2 on 01932 344450 for bookings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Amy qualified Hair Dressing from Guildford College and initially worked in Leatherhead prior to joining Hair Mekanix in 2017 upon a move to Byfleet. She worked at our West Byfleet salon as a Senior Stylist to and through the lock-downs at which time she became pregnant and moved out of the area. After some family time we welcome her back to Hair Mekanix Bourne Valley, again as a Senior Stylist. She looks forward to seeing many of her old clients and of course, new ones! At the moment she works Thursdays and Saturdays, but we expect more days in the New Year. 

Debbie did her beauty training at Guildford College from 2004 to 2006.

She then work for different salons within the local area gaining experience and product knowledge. She first worked with us here at HM2 from November 2011 until October 2013, she has since returned to us as of June 2016 after becoming a mum to Archie.

Debbie has worked with Dermalogica for years and has a vast knowledge about skin care. However her passion is very much nails, where she excels and she specialises in acrylic nails and eyelash extensions.

Gitte took over control of Hair Mekanix in June 2007. She has been working since the 80's initially training as a receptionist with the Thistle Group and later working at a top accountancy practise in the city of London. In 1992 she retrained in beauty and holistic therapies, later specialising in make-up and prosthetics which led to a career in film and TV. At the same time Gitte taught part-time at Farnborough College of Technology, with her main subjects being all forms of make-up and also a course for Indian Head Massage. Whilst there she achieved the City & Guilds NVQ level 3 in Further & Adult Education. A Cert Ed from the University of Greenwich followed and also her assessor's certificate from the VTCT.

When Gitte and her husband, Oliver took the decision to expand Hair Mekanix they took the inspired decision to build a completely new salon within wharehouse space at Bourne Valley Garden Centre, Woodham. The new business was finally opened on July 2nd, 2016. This has enhanced the business, offered economies of scale, brought in new staff, new products and has opened an exciting era in the business.

Grace started with Hair Mekanix in West Byfleet in the summer of 2022 as a Senior Stylist. She comes to us with 8 years experience as a stylist after training at Guildford College and then working at two other local salons. She works with us down at Bourne Valley full-time, the only day you will not find her in the salon is Thursday!

Katie has returned from maternity leave! She is presently working alternate Saturdays with more days to come from September

Katie joined us at Hair Mekanix as a full time stylist in November 2015. Having originally worked at both of our salons she now works exclusively at HM2, Bourne Valley from Tuesday through to Saturday. She is from the local area having completed her training and qualifications at one of competitors in Addlestone and as such, is building a great local client base. She has a fantatstic ability with hair up and is a very popular stylist around Prom and Party time, as many want to experience "Katie Curls".

Niamh started at Hair Mekanix West Byfleet back in the summer of 2022. She trained with us and also at Farnborough College. She became fully qualified in June 2024, as a Junior Stylist. She is rapidly building a client base and we are very impressed with her progress. She really enjoys creating hair-up styles and is very ambitious, wanting to learn more about hair-up and extension hair work.

Nicolle left school in 2010 after which she completed a 2 years course at Guildford college in Health and Social Care after deciding she wished to become a nurse. She then returned to Guildford college in 2014 after becoming a mum to study beauty therapy on a part-time basis, finally going full-time in 2015 to get her Level 3.

She worked for a short time for a salon in Woking until she joined Hair Mekanix 2 in June 2016. She is excited to be working with Dermalogica and are working towards becoming a skin care specialist. Tracey joined our busy salon full-time down at Bourne Valley in March 2014 as an Artistic Director. She is a qualified Hair Stylist and Colour Technician with over 20 year's experience. Originally trained in Hairdressing in South Africa but upon arriving in the UK she joined Headmasters in Twickenham where she achieved Master Hairstylist. Her knowledge of cutting, colouring, bridal up styles, session styling are of the most high standard. Tracey has attended many renowned hairdressing courses over the years, here and in South Africa, and she has a vast knowledge of, and experience in, the industry.
