Hair Mekanix is the premier Hair Salon Group in Surrey. We had 2 class leading salons; the first in West Byfleet, Surrey, and the second at Bourne Valley Garden Centre in Addlestone. As of January 1st 2023 we took the bold decision to merge the 2 salons into the larger one at Bourne Valley Garden Centre. This offers our customers a much "bigger" experience, not only in terms of the space in the salon, but also in regards to access to all our health and beauty services too.

Back in 2007 the business came under the new management of Gitte Rasmussen, and, since that time both salons have undergone an initial full dramatic refurbishment and then the expansion to a second salon at Bourne Valley Garden Centre in Addlestone. We have now decided to merge both into one, due to the legacy of Covid and tough present trading conditions. However despite this our salon remains dynamic and vigilant to trends and improvements to the business. We have a strong business ethic to keep the salon fresh and attractive and all our staff fully trained and uptodate with trends in fashion, colour and cuts.

Within our business we've a full colour bar, new and fresh looking cutting and colouring sections and a fresh new look after repainting our internal walls. At the newly expanded Bourne Valley salon we have an expansive Beauty Service offering everything from massage to electrolysis, and, we have added nail bars and pedicure stations as nails are becoming an integral and very popular part of the services we offer to our clients. All the girls have, or are receiving, training in the application and maintenance of nails. Our primary service, shellac, has a beautiful and very strong finish. The process tends to take 30 minutes, why not try whilst you wait for your colour to take? We have offered beauty and holistic treatments for the past 3 years as well as a new spray tanning room. Whilst there is more information later in the website, which we recommend reading, please feel free to come in and ask about our make-up service, massage therapies, facials, manicures, pedicures etc. Also we can offer hypnotherapy and Reiki, but, again please see later in the services section of the website for extensive information, and please come in and talk with Gitte if you would like to know more. The salon at Bourne Valley has 3 dedicated rooms for all your pampering and beauty needs.

All our staff take regular training and product knowledge to stay current within the industry. We feel that this is a very important aspect to an ever changing business in terms of products and trends. We are constantly researching new products and listening to client feedback as to what they are looking for and what they are enjoying. Recently we have taken on new organic, sulphate free, hypoallergenic and holistic product ranges as well as Vegan product ranges. The ethos of the owners is also animal friendly and all our products are Leapng Bunny awarded, that is, NO animal testing whatsoever.
